The story of Mladiinfo is much more than a story of a non-profit organization that emerged to address persisting problems in the society… It is a personal story, yours, mine, ours story, a story about the journey of self-discovery and development. Mladiinfo contributes to building the GENERATION of TODAY: empowered, innovative and self-aware. And this generation is – US. We are eager to learn, to share, to discover, to grow, to explore and empower. We love learning, positive energy, and enthusiasm, we cheer diversity, open minds, and new destinations.  We think deeply and we laugh loudly. We – the young people must be the change we want to see in the world. And we have the responsibility to make it happen.

Mladiinfo International was established in 2003 with the name Mladiinfo FEJS MK (Forum of European Journalism Students Macedonia) as a non-profit, independent organization dedicated to help young people to fulfill their educational potential as they are challenged by many educational disadvantages caused by either personal, social, cultural or economic circumstances. As a logical result of this mission was the founding of the web portal www.mladiinfo.eu, updated and supported by young local and European volunteers, with the goal to bring international opportunities: scholarships, internships, conferences, volunteering etc. to students in North Macedonia and all around the world. What started as a portal, expanded in an international network of young enthusiasts, where young people are not only informed about the opportunities for personal and professional development but also trained to make an impact in their communities and transform their societies.

Today, the network has branch offices in  5 countries of Central and East Europe (Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic and Montenegro) as well as a seeding office in Skopje, North Macedonia. Mladiinfo International has also developed important partnerships and collaboration platform connecting three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa (mostly regions of Central and Eastern Europe, MENA, South-East Asia, Southern and Eastern Africa), to impact lives of youth all around the globe.

By providing free career and educational opportunities for youth and offering them help, advice, and support through the process of personal and professional development, Mladiinfo International has a direct impact on the lives of youth, engaging, connecting and empowering them to take action, and build more resilient communities.  Mladiinfo International promotes active citizenship and critical thinking, where young people become shapers of their societies. Working actively in the fields of youth information, youth empowerment and social entrepreneurship, Mladiinfo network creates a true youth podium globally, where young minds can also share their thoughts, knowledge and skills, prepare food-for-though articles, and give tips to their peers on how to benefit from learning experiences. Our social media channels have 120,000+ fans and followers, whereas we have 100,000+ visits per month on our web page www.mladiinfo.eu.

Constant learning, appreciating diversity and sharing knowledge and experiences, are some of our core values that we reflect in the educational programmes we work on. We truly believe in an interconnected world based on knowledge-sharing and an open access for everyone, where young people are actively advancing their society using new technologies, respect and understand each other. Although we deliver impact on an international level, we also work on advancing life of youth in our community by administrating the Center for Youth and NGO established by municipality Gazi Baba, in Skopje, North Macedonia, where our main offices are located. Transferring our organizational international knowledge and experience domestically, we aim to promote civic activism and social responsibility among youth, and enhance their participation and inclusion in the democratic processes in the country and the Western Balkan region. We inspire and create new generation of young leaders, knowledgeable and skilled to change the world!
